• Population dispersion- the way in which individuals of a population are spread in an area or a volume
• Clumped dispersion- individuals live closely, in groups. Used to facilitate mating, gain protection, or access food resources.
• Uniform dispersion- individuals live at specific distances from each other. Territorial animals, interspecies competition.
• Random dispersion- individuals are spread randomly
