Cyanobacteria- photosynthetic-important chemicals as byproduct
- grows in colonies

- POSITIVE USES- clean up chemical messes, flavor foods, used in genetic engineering
- PATHOGENS- but responds to antibiotic

Enteric
- gram -
-heterotrophic
-helps digest food, lives in stomach
-when out of a body, dies and releases toxins
